Re Generation - a wild legacy of Doug Tompkins
When we started the idea of a Re-Generation festival we were absolutely sure that we are creating something brand new. We had the common spirit that we could solve every problem. And at our second meeting we suddenly noticed where our spirit and power came from: the spirit of Doug Tomkins, founder of North Face, ESPRIT, seven wonderful national parks and Laguna Blanca, the most beautiful farm in the world. He has brought all of us together in one way or another. He has inspired us with his ideas of deep ecology, conservation, innovation and most of all: beauty.
He has impressed us with his easy living on the one hand and his incredible visionary power and speed on the other hand.
